VISION
A generation of out-of-school youth and
adult learners who are nurtured to become
self-sufficient, independent and productive
citizens of the country through an
Alternative Learning System (ALS) of education that
reaches out to the underserved and marginalized
sectors of the society.
MISSION
Ensure the delivery of effective and
efficient education services that:
empower Out-of-School Youth and Adults (OSYAs)
through reentry to formal schooling;
steer all learners regardless of
age, gender, religion and social status
to become self-sufficient, independent,
and productive citizens;
strengthen the participation of internal and
external stakeholders for the holistic
development of every learner; and
support the realization of the
national Education For All (EFA) goals of
the Department of Education.
